That personality translates into this women's costume with surprising completeness. The royal blue and metallic silver palette all in a wearable form that makes for a unique Halloween silhouette!
Structured for the Stars
The dress is the centerpiece of this three-piece set. It's constructed from shine-coated medium-weight jersey knit fabric and features sublimated R2-D2 artwork printed in a cartoon-illustrated style with metallic silver panel details and royal blue graphic elements. The fitted bodice leads into a flared skirt silhouette, with heavy fusible interfacing built into the body of the dress to maintain shape. A center back lapped zipper closure finishes the back cleanly.
The Dome on Top and the Details Below
The sleeve design sets this costume apart from standard character dresses. Puff bubble caps at the shoulder are built with stiff white tulle inside for structure, and long fitted sleeves extend below. Royal blue trim at the chest and sleeves ties the upper half together. The bodice and skirt carry the full illustrated R2-D2 artwork, making the dress recognizable from across any convention hall or Halloween gathering.
Accessories That Complete the Circuit
Two accessories complete the look. The choker is the same shine-coated jersey knit as the dress, printed with matching R2-D2 artwork and fastening with hook and loop at the back. The headband pairs a royal blue shiny spandex trim band over a plastic base with a foam-structured dome top shaped like R2's rounded head, finishing the costume with the character's most iconic silhouette.
