Blue Trim and Metallic Brilliance
The dress is constructed from shine-coated medium weight jersey knit, giving the fabric a subtle sheen that photographs beautifully. Sublimated cartoon-style R2-D2 artwork covers the body, rendered in white, royal blue, and metallic silver to capture the droid's iconic panel details. Royal blue trim runs along the chest and sleeves, tying the look together with crisp, deliberate color.
Structured for the Long Night Ahead
Puff sleeves at the shoulders hold their shape thanks to stiff white tulle inside the sleeve caps. Long fitted sleeves extend below for coverage, while heavy fusible interfacing in the body of the dress maintains structure through hours of wear. The silhouette is fitted through the bodice and flares at the skirt. A center back lapped zipper in white keeps the line clean.
