Workshop of the Wicked
Some toys are made with love. Hettie was made with something older and less forgiving, and Hershal has long since stopped pretending otherwise. This 5.9-foot animatronic pair captures the particular horror of craftsmanship gone wrong: a dollmaker who can no longer put his creation down, and a doll who has decided she's done waiting.
The Sequence Unfolds
Hershal begins the scene hunched forward, eyes cast down toward Hettie in his lap. Three seconds after activation, his head rises slowly and his yellow eyes open to face whatever triggered the sensor. Three seconds after that, Hettie's eyes ignite bright white and her body lunges forward and upward out of his grip. Atmospheric audio plays throughout, building tension from stillness to shock.
Built for the Fright
Hershal and Hettie are constructed from molded, vinyl, and cloth components, giving the pair a textured, handcrafted look that fits perfectly with the cursed workshop aesthetic. At nearly six feet tall, the display commands attention in any entryway, porch, or haunted room setup.
Setup Without the Struggle
Powering the pair requires nothing more than a standard outlet. Activation options include a simple on/off switch or motion detection, which lets the animatronic trigger automatically as guests approach. The motion mode handles the timing so the scare lands at exactly the right moment without any manual effort.
