For decades, The Princess Bride assured audiences that Rodents of Unusual Size were barely worth worrying about. The R.O.U.S. Animatronic Decoration exists to correct that impression. This is an officially licensed, life-sized recreation of the Fire Swamp's most fearsome inhabitant, and it carries every ounce of the creature's size, menace, and sheer physical presence into your home.
Scale That Commands the Room
At nearly two feet tall and 45 inches long, this animatronic rodent fills a space the way a real R.O.U.S. would: completely. The 50-inch stuffed tail extends behind it and can be posed in any direction, letting you adjust the creature's posture to suit your haunt. Whether it's coiled near the door or stretched across a hallway floor, the effect is immediate and unmistakable.
Built for the Swamp, Ready for Halloween
The construction earns its price: a solid metal frame supports long pile fur, a foam nose, foam-and-wire legs that produce a subtly wobbling stance, molded latex claws, and bared teeth that look uncomfortably real. The legs flex slightly as the figure moves, giving the creature a living, unsteady quality that static props simply cannot replicate.
Sounds From Somewhere You Don't Want to Go
Plug it into any standard outlet and the R.O.U.S. wakes up. A motion sensor at the top of the head triggers the activation, flooding the room with swamp gurgling, low growls, and full roars.
