What the Torch Hand Does

The mechanical detail that makes Balthazar genuinely unsettling is the movement of his torch arm. The hand pivots to bring the flickering fire effect closer to his face, then retreats, then approaches again, mimicking the real performance of a fire-eater working the flame. Combined with a very wide side-to-side sway that sweeps across eight feet of space, every guest within range gets the full effect of a performer who has their complete attention.

The Voice Lines That Linger

Balthazar speaks. Three recorded lines deliver threats dressed as invitations, each one circling the theme of souls on fire and the dare to step closer. Paired with looping circus music and layered laughter, the audio environment he creates is as effective as his physical presence. Motion detection at the hip triggers the full performance automatically, so he activates the moment anyone approaches.

Fog, Scale, and Pure Spectacle

At 120 inches to the top of the torch and approximately 60 inches wide, Balthazar fills a space in a way that few decorations can. The built-in fog function adds a fire-breathing effect that ties the whole display together. He runs on a standard outlet with on/off and motion controls at leg and hip height for easy access.
