Lurking in the shadows of every boardwalk and carnival midway, the Zoltar fortune telling machine has captivated the curious and the credulous for decades. Made famous by the 1988 film *Big*, this iconic arcade oracle has a mystique that lingers long after the last wish is granted. Now, that legendary presence belongs to you — cabinet, turban, and all.
The Machine Has a New Occupant
The centerpiece of this remarkable costume is the Zoltar booth itself, constructed from sturdy polyfoam pieces and held in its unmistakable rectangular shape by a framework of 32 pipes and connectors hidden underneath. Shoulder straps keep the whole structure comfortably in place, so the wearer can roam freely while the crowd marvels at the spectacle before them. The booth's exterior is printed with the ornate decorative border, coin slot panel, and bold ZOLTAR signage seen on the real machine, making this a genuinely striking visual from every angle.
The Mystic Within the Glass
Peering out from behind the booth's front window, the wearer is dressed as the turbaned fortune teller himself. The gold shirt with its attached green vest and sash channels that classic Eastern mysticism aesthetic, while the matching yellow turban completes the silhouette. A gold metallic necklace drapes across the chest, adding a touch of showman's flair to the ensemble.
That Face, That Magnificent Face
No Zoltar transformation is complete without the signature mustache and goatee. The synthetic fiber facial hair applies with adhesive and is designed for multiple uses, though spirit gum (sold separately) is recommended for the most secure hold across a long night of dispensing cryptic wisdom.
