Re: Daydreaming about autumn.

That looks like a pretty good find. I know that the Dollar Store here in Streator, and various others will start selling Halloween merch in the 2nd half of August. It seems that you have to really hurry if you want to find the best items as everything is completely picked over by mid October. Onlin...

Re: 200 days 'til Halloween!...

[What can I tell you. I love The 4th of July as much as I do Halloween, and to me it's worth the money. The neighbors spend about as much, so the show gets pretty good. Besides that, I spent a lot more then that on records and a new turn table just over the pst 3 months. I LOVE FIREWORKS, and I do ...

Re: 200 days 'til Halloween!...

It still has nice color balance, though. Right now, however, I am looking forward to lighting off some 4th of July fireworks. I have about 450 bucks saved up, and I hope to have 650 or 700 by the end of June.

Re: Ghost Looking In Window

I was born and raised in Chicago, and I didn't live in Dwight until the mid 90s, so none of my aunts, uncles, etc were there to start that legend, but it's quite plausible and even probable that there was such a myth going around long before my arrival to Dwight Ill.

Re: Halloween 2020

I still would like to have it on DVD, but it would be nice if I could have seen it at a movie theatre as I still actually enjoy going out to a movie once in a while then out for food afterwards.

Re: 200 days 'til Halloween!...

And this year, we don't have an election to clutter up the works like we did last year. That was a MAJOR BUMMER, too because we had a Full Moon, a Saturday AND an extra hour of Halloween due to the 'Fall Back' time change. At any rate, I am going to have a MAJOR BASH, complete with loud records and...

Re: What are you watching?

My 'system' such as it is is a weird hodgepodge of 21st century digital, and 20th century anologue wiaht a CD recorder, DVD / Blue Ray player thrown in for good measure. In order to get my computer hooked up to that system, I have to replace my computer with enough outputs to hook into it, run cabl...

Re: What are you watching?

Anything smaller then my computer screen and forget it. I usually use a LCD projector to watch DVDs, but occasionally I use a portable DVD with a 12 inch screen. I don't have any way to set up the internet to my projector, and it looks like I may have to upgrade to a more expensive computer if I wa...

Re: What are you watching?

American Horror Story is probably one of the most unique anthology series, that ties a lot of the same characters together in an interesting and original way. Usually I prefer to watch movies and tv shows through my good stereo system and projector, but if you can fi nd A H S online I would recomme...

Re: What are you watching?

I was never a huge fan of the Dick Van Dyke show, as most tv 'sit coms' were not my 'thing.' There were a few I like, such as "The Munsters' and "The Adams Family." I also did enjoy a few main streamers like "All in the Family," "Sanford & Son" "Alf"...

Re: What are you watching?

I had a crush on Morticia from "The Adams Family." She was quite a beautiful woman in her own right, and I agree about Marilyn Munster. She was a sweet looking girl, too. I think one of my personal fav episodes of "The Munsters" was when a con man sold them an old western ghost ...

I knew a guy who made a banjo based on what he read in the Foxfire books.
