But what did you think of the story? Did you pee yourself with terror? Ciuin wrote: Did you do any research for this story? If by "research" you mean did I eat anybody, I'd have to answer no. But I did watch The Silence of the Lambs, Ravenous, and the episode of The IT Crowd where Moss meets the German. So while I can't answer from first hand experience whether human flesh most closely resembles pig or deer, I would imagine that a fitter person would likely be more gamey like venison, and your average American would most likely taste porkier.

English bacon? Is that like Canadian bacon? Because I'd pass.

Yeah. It's cut from the back instead of the belly. Has more of a ham-like texture. I was getting hungry for a second there, until I remembered what the actual topic was.

Interesting story, I was quite curious to find out how the main character of the story found out Hank was a cannabel. Was it at camp? It was funny because Hank just seemed like an ordinary guy. I wonder how they killed the people to eat them? They're just talking about the whole thing as if it were the weather, very casual. But that's why it was funny. And on that note, I think I'll continue eating junk food after all. :p

Quote: I think it was just sort of common knowledge. You know how some people just seem like they've got to be cannibals? Yeah but in reality if it were common knowledge, he and his family would've been arrested a long time ago. But it is a story, and I do like how it's got this twist to it that while he is a cannibal, the theme of the story is very laid back and relaxed. It's a lot like anime logic really. It seems more odd than horrific. If it was made into a movie, I wouldn't mind seeing "back ground" scenes where the person is being killed and chopped up into stew. If someone walked around with cat ears and a tail, and I'm not talking about fake ones, real ones, and people didn't turn their heads and stare and just acted as though it were normal, that would be considered anime logic. At least that's how I define it. I think your story is a good example, because it's an odd occurrence, but it's out in the open as common knowledge and few people seem to be bothered by it. Another good example would be if say, I was a vampire, and talked about how I enjoyed drinking the blood of human beings. And people weren't bothered by it, like the character in your story who was all "Hey that's your thing." One really whacked out anime I saw once was when a guy woke up one day with a girl attached to his fist. Literally. In any case, these occurrences happen without a reason or explanation. It adds a bit of mystery to it. In any case, I enjoyed reading the story.
