I used to read Stephen King's Salem's Lot when I was young, and it was old book. But the movie is good.

I hope you enjoy Cell. I thought it was one of his best.

I have two books going right now. 'Will Storr Vs. The Supernatural' & 'Occult America'.

Only problem is now that spring is here, I don't spend much time reading.

Hmmm.... I thought Cell was one of his worst.

You probably won't believe it, but right now I'm reading War and Peace.

It does borrow heavily from the Stand, in as much as the main (Maine?) characters make a long trek through a wasted America, but I like the tech aspect of it.

I liked the idea of cell phones turning people into zombies.....but that was pretty much all I liked.

I have seen people walking around in public, eyes glazed over, jaws hanging slack, shuffling around as if with no direction, mumbling to themselves.... At which point I usually see the little gizmo clipped to their ear.

I won't wear one of those things. It's bad enough that I wear a hearing aid all day, I'm not lousing up my 'good ear' with yet another piece of electronics.

Help me out here, before I make a crass and inappropriate joke that I have to apologize for. Do you actually wear a hearing aid, or are you playing off all those "old guy" jokes I'm always making about you?

Regardless of my response, I fully expect yours to be crass and inappropriate, it is one of your more endearing qualities.

More than makes up for that wardrobe...

I'm hard of hearing impaired guy since I was 2½ year old from German Measle. And, I used to wear hearing aides long time ago. When I was 15 years old, I stopped wearing them anymore because those hearing aides didn't help me to hear anymore.
