I kinda figured they didn't have potatoes (I believe those came from Central America), but I forgot about watercress. I wasn't sure about lobster, but I knew they would be fishing, so I guessed they did have that.

Yeah, but we're never hungry, either. I think they were a lot of the time. Didn't many of them starve at first? Isn't that why they were having a Thanksgiving feast? They had hard, hard lives. I don't envy them.

Hahaha Yes! Something delivered besides pizza and Chinese. Although they're two of my favorite things.

The Pilgrims did in fact, have to hund, gather and grow their food to live. They also had God and their TRADITIONS, which made it possible, IMHO, to survive in the wilderness that America was in the 1600s.

Beulah is such an old-fashioned name. My friend's mother is named Beulah and was born in 1914.

what did beulah mean in the bible?... the promise land right? i believe so! well our beulah definitely does NOT live up to its name if so
