'The Halloween Tree' by Ray Bradbury!

Read it, that's all I can say. For the love of all that is orange and black, you have to read this book if you're a Halloween Junkie. And when you've finished it, hop on over to YouTube and watch the freaking delightful cartoon adaptation (and hey, buy the used VHS on ebay if you're feeling a little obsessed).
Just thought I'd mention it, though I'm sure most of you have already read it (and re-read it over and over and over...)

i love the cartoon! i've been meaning to pick a copy of this book up.. any good places that i could find a hard back in great condition?
Last night 'twas witching Hallowe'en
Dearest; an apple russet- brown
I pared, and thrice above my crown
Whirled the long skin; they watched in keen;
I flung it far; they laughed and cried me shame
Dearest, there lay the letter of your name!

Though I have the book I downloaded it last year just so I can have a digital copy of it. Haven't read it yet since I don't like reading books on a computer screen but whoever converted it did a great job. Looks just like the physical book. I recently found a great reader for my iTouch so I'm thinking of converting it so I can carry it with me all the time.
