Dang! The show was excellent. Catch it if you can. Very accurate to known history and the acting was fantastic, especially by Costner and Paxton.
Finally... something on History Channel, worth watching, that's actually about history.

A long time ago Mac Said that I would enjoy that show, so naturally I avoided it
Last year I watched an episode by mistake and was astounded that I enjoyed it
I got the first 4 Seasons for my birthday And I'm officially hooked.
Who knew that Mac Could be right about something?

Nevermore I am SO upset what they did to my History Channel. I used to watch it all the time. Now all of the Discovery type channels are really nothing but more reality shows, and I hate those stupid things. I REALLY wish the fad would die off.

Seriously! I almost always had History Channel on until these reality shows started. Worse part is, some of the shows sort of delve into history related topics (Pawn Stars, the picker guys) but they air the same shows over and over and over and over. Now I never even look at the listings for the channel. I only knew about Hatfields & McCoys because I read about it on a blog. Unfortunately SyFy Channel is heading down the same path. I'm seriously considering getting rid of cable TV.

Thanks for the opinion. I expect I'll wait for DVD on that one.
There really isn't a movie coming out this summer that I am anticipating. I may have seen all the movies I will see this season already.
