Chocolate and cayenne is supposed to go good together, and milk is what you drink when you eat hot peppers and need to cool it down, so....

Yeah, I've never put pepper into chocolate, but I have seen references to some kind of peppered cocoa. I guess it's a Mexican thing. It's probably fine if you like pepper more than I do.

I don't think I'd like it. But to each their own.

Yuck! Yuck! A thousand times Yuck. Chocolate and Cyanne Pepper??? No way! Besides, my stomach can't handle any of those really hot foods any more.
I also CAN'T STAND milk as a drink, either. Even looking at in a glass causes me to lost my appitite.

Mike Oh man... now I'm thirsty for some hot cider! Best pace to get it is from Dicken's Farms in Missouri.

Like I said, hot cyder may be a traditional Halloween drink, but I can't stand hot liquids. I drink my cyder like I drink soday, other fruitjuices and water. Ice cold. As for cofee, I have never obtained the taste for it, so I don't drink it at all, cold or hot.

Cayenne pepper and chocolate? That's interesting...I might look into that. But not the milk part. I love spicey stuff--the hotter, the better and I'm intrigued to see what it would do to cocoa...

Hot or cold: Pepin Heights Sweetango apple cider, mixed with a shot of Fireball cinnamon whiskey.

I made a crock pot of mulled apple cider last weekend, my first of the season. It was not too different from the wassail I make at Christmas, except there was no cranberry juice in it. I added the orange like I do at Christmas because the recipe called for it, but I think next time I'll leave the orange out. That makes it taste too much like Christmas for me.
