I just purchased this paper lantern, today, at the dollar store!
Love dollar stores. It's a steal for a buck!

I saw some similar ones at Garden Ridge! This was like 3 weeks ago. All the Halloween stuff was shoved in a dark dusty corner behind 10 miles of Christmas stuff. WTH? We Pumpkinheads are so mistreated

Love all your purchases, Jack! The black roses and the lanterns are awesome!

Those are some fabulous decorations. Mine are all up except for 3 that need batteries. My first jack o'lantern will be lit next Saturday.
Actualy that's the day after tomorrow.
Awesome

I'll be working on pumpkins this weekend too. The Headless Horseman and Jack Skellington are up next. If I have time, I may throw another one in there. I almost have too many pumpkin projects lined up right now.

Hey does anyone put their jack-o-lanterns around the house as part of the indoor decorations? I mean, assuming you carve fake pumpkins? Or I suppose even real ones, if the climate where you live allows them to keep longer? I'm debating whether or not to display mine around the house. I have so many of them and it seems a shame to just leave them in the closets until Halloween night...

Of course you should display them! I have had a ceramic jack-o-lantern for many years and burn votive candles in it, inside the house.

Okay, sweet! I have about 16 jacks right now, so it's just a matter of finding a spot for each of them.
