great suggestions! But....we decided on a theme for this year..and its not gory in the least ..For those of you that know me, you know that we have rarely done the "haunt"..we always just choose a theme and run with it. Different every year. One year was an old west town, once a cemetary, once a gypsy town with a traveling doctor..and last year, renaissance (house was a castle)  Well, we are going with Arabian nights this year Something similar to this  Tenting the whole front yard with the backdrop made of plywood, and painted. Lots of floor cushions, low tables, hookah pipes and belly dancers? Whatcha think?

Nah. I think you should set up a couple voting booths in your front yard. That's the scariest thing I can think of.
