Just wanted to share the wonderful news with all my Halloween family--the hubby and I are expecting our first child due on October 28! We could not be more excited and as much as he thinks I planned this to fall on my favorite holiday, I promise I didn't!  My birthday is a week after Halloween and I love having a fall birthday. Now we will have a son just in time for the funnest part of the year! Obviously this may put a slow down on decorations and costumes this year but I'm totally looking forward to it! _________________ I've met The Great Pumpkin.http://pumpkinbump.wordpress.com/

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!
How exciting!...Think of the years to come, with birthday and Halloween al in the same week! And maybe the little one will be a few days late? lol
My daughters is three days before Christmas. We always made her birthday special and unrelated to the holidays. Once, we had a luau for her birthday...every room in the house was decorated for Christmas, except for the family room. Parrots and palm trees there!! lol

Check closely for a birthmark that resembles three sixes, and whatever you do, don't name him Damian.

Congratulations, SpookyBlackKat! Babies are wonderful any time of year! Your due date is close to my husband's birthday (Oct. 29th).
Johnsoneliza, it sounds as if your daughter & I have the same birthday. Dec. 22, right? I have always loved my Christmas birthday, honestly. The close association has never bothered me a bit.
