Good Lord, this year has flown by. I watched Nightmare Before Christmas last night with my girlfriend and I freaked out after I realized how close Halloween is.
82 days away and I've barely planned anything.

Yup, it's under a hundred days already. I actualy set up Halloween at the end of Sept, so it'll be just a little over a month before I start putting everything up.

So, unbelievably enough, we're about 75 days away...The thing is, 75 days sounds deceivingly worse than it really is...as many of you have mentioned, the season starts for me around Sept 1. Even for those who are more traditional, the season starts around Oct. 1 which is really only, what, 44 days off? Not too bad at all! We shouldn't rush it, though, as the build-up is half the fun!

I allways put up the decorations before September is out, and have them up through November 2nd.

I usualy take Halloween down on the 3rd of Nov, because it isn't too long after Halloween that I have to get my Christmas cleaning started, and this year is also my turn for hosting Thanksgiving, so I have to have it all done relatively early in Nov.
