I lived in PR for 3 months and met a couple of 'Witches' while I was there but didn't get to experience anything but the island sure is full of mystery and mysticism....lots of beauty on the island but also lots of dark and shadows...
I have found that to be true in many parts of Latin America...such a mixture in culture and beliefs...religion and paganism.

Most bookstores have sections on New Age stuff that include books about Wicca and witchcraft, if you are really interested. Of course, the books won't tell you personal anecdotes the way an active participant might be able to do.

I don't know if Wicca and Witchcraft could be considered one in the same. I could be wrong, but when I think of Witchcraft, I think of satan worship and black magic. When I think of Wicca, I think of my oldest niece and her worship of the "spirits in nature."
She actualy refers to herself as a pegan rather then as a Wiccan.

Yes, I may be incorrect to have associated those two words. I believe "witch" comes form the same root word as "wiccan," but it may not mean the same thing in modern speech.
I am aware that Wiccans are primarily nature worshippers. And I do hear the terms "pagan" and "neo-pagan" increasingly nowadays with a positive or at least not a pejorative connotation. I would certainly call Wiccans pagan, but I am not sure if all pagans consider themselves Wiccan.
I used to hear about Satanism more when I was a girl and younger adult. I am not sure if Satanism is the same thing as witchcraft.

My understanding is that there are "dark" or "black" witches and good or light ones. Wiccans don't dabble in black magic, to my knowledge.

Not far from me there is a woodland with a house just on the other side of it. When I was younger there was a story that in that house lived a white witch.

Wiccan, Witchcraft and Satanists, all different.
Witchcraft does involve black magic and Satanists perform human sacrifices, where as wiccan and witchcraft do not.

I suppose there must not be very many Satanists, then, or we would be hearing more about them and their practices!
So on a sliding scale, Wiccans are "good" or "light," Witches might consider doing harm through their spells, and Satanists are downright criminal?
But it occurs to me that perhaps "human sacrifice" doesn't always mean killing a victim. Maybe Satanists can perform a human sacrifice by letting blood, not killing, for example?
