Non Halloween poems

Postby Nostalgiascape » Mon Sep 28, 2009 10:58 pm

How can you lose something you never had and still eel like you’ve lost it?
How can you fail at an act that your never performed and still feel like you failed it?
How can you take a heart that was never whole and still feel like it’s splitting?
I find being a lost soul in a desert wasteland to be quite fitting.
Ever have that feeling, in your house all alone in the dark? You've locked up, and tucked in, but sense that someone who doesn't belong there is sneaking along the shadows?

that's pretty heavy :) good work
Last night 'twas witching Hallowe'en
Dearest; an apple russet- brown
I pared, and thrice above my crown
Whirled the long skin; they watched in keen;
I flung it far; they laughed and cried me shame
Dearest, there lay the letter of your name!
