His problem was an excess of ear wax, apparently, that needed to be vacuumed out of both ears. Immediately he not only felt better, but he said he heard better than he had in years. He was almost giddy about it yesterday afternoon. I guess the build-up had happened so gradually he hadn't realized he was losing his hearing because of the obstruction. I have never had this problem, so I didn't even know it could happen.
