Not sure where this thread should go, but it's a scary story, so I put it here. Has anyone read this story? I read it a few years ago and I remember bits and pieces, but not much. I mainly remember feeling weird after finishing it, kinda depressed almost. Caving kinda freaks me out. http://www.angelfire.com/trek/caver/index.html

Interesting story, Castle. I'll have to check that out.

... reminds me of a candle-light cave tour I'm thinkin' of doing this Friday. Apparently, Colossal Cave is haunted.
That is an interesting story, though... a bit long too.... Thanks for the link. I'm always looking for new stories. Reminds me a little of those cave films where the spelunkers get trapped and some monster that's sleeping in the cave is awakened and... yadda, yadda... you get the idea.
Not sure how bright it was of those blokes to go into a skin-tight hole in a cave where no one knows the location... but *shrug* whatev'.

It took me most of the day to read (I've been in and out all day) but that is a really unsettling story. Liked it lots, thanks for posting.
