good season opener!!!!
I forgot how much i get into this show, the creepyness factor is great, I found my self telling them to hide better under the cars!
And how cool was that, zombies "worshiping" in the church, it seems the zombies are thinking more this season then last

Zombies aren't supposed to think.

I'm also a fan of the graphic novels too, although i've only got three volumes so far! Need to buy some more!

Last week's episode was the first one I haven't been disappointed by. The acting was way better than it normally is, the dialogue was better written, and the zombies, though minimal, were really scary. I still think this show can be really, really good, but it's taking a while to hit its stride.

I watch this all 3 episodes this season and think each one has gotten worst. Still good gore and I am fan of gore so count me in for more viewings in the future.

SPOILER!!!! For our English friends who haven't seen the 'Save the Last One' episode yet. Seriously guys don't read this till you see it. Disturbing events. And quite shocking.
Do you guys think what Shane did was wrong? Or was it the only choice he had? He had to get the medicine and respirator back to the kid and if he didn't do what he did, they both would have bought it. Personally, in the world they're living in, I probably would have done the same thing.

Right or wrong, it really shows the difference between him and Rick. Rick Grimes would have died, maybe stupidly, trying to save Otis. He never would have sacrificed him like that. Shane is a very different kind of character. Enough things have happened that you really have to start questioning his moral compass.

Hey Mac.
Yeah, Shane seems a bit off kilter. I figured that after he went after Lori in the first season. I get the feeling he's gonna get worse. He did something despicable and that's going to eat at him. Let's see how he handles it.

The thing about the show that bothers me the most is the inconsistencies. In the first season, the survivors had to smear themselves in the blood of a zombie so that the zombies could not smell them. This season they could hide under cars and the zombies wouldn't smell them. Also in the last episode, they showed Rick eating a sandwich. I am not so sure there would be any bread that is still good anymore.

Boogyman, they explained that in the Talking Dead episode after that show. The director said that the zombies are not bloodhounds. They won't pick up a scent and track it back to the source like a dog would. In the first season Rick and Glenn were walking amongst them and the chance was pretty high that the walkers would notice them if they didn't have the dead smell. A lot like having someone who smokes walk past you if you're a non-smoker. Did you notice Daryl covered himself and T-Dog up because they were out in the open where the walkers could see them?
As far as the bread goes, maybe those folks make their own bread, or they had some in the freezer? They obviously had electricity. They seem pretty self-sufficient. Funny when you think about it. The Amish are probably the best prepared if a zombie outbreak occurs in this country.

I watch last night and favorite part was big zombie in the well that split up and spilled gore. That was gross and good.

When my wife & I were watching episode 3, I said when Shane returned on his own that he had done something to that other guy. I wasn't suprised he had done it.
We get episode 4 on Friday as we're 5 days behind you guys.
