Hey everybody! This horror remake flick will come out in October of this year! But, I've seen the trailer and it was okay. I prefer the original one.

I've seen the trailer. I'm not going to see it in the cinema. I'll wait for it to be available to rent. I really like the original. A brilliant film by a brilliant director!
Infact, I think I might watch it tonight once my wife's gone to bed as she doesn't like it.

I'm seeing this on opening day. The Thing is one of favorite horror flicks and favorite movies period. I'm prepared to be let down, as is the case with most remakes/sequels/prequels, but that's fine.

I'll definitely have to check this one out. I love The Thing in all its incarnations.

Nah, I don't think I'll go to the movies and see it. I'll wait for video.

We'll see. It's kinda like Jurassic Park for me. I know there's a sequel coming, and it'll most likely suck but I'm such a die hard fan of the series, I'll see it in the theaters anyway.

I'll be checking it out next weekend. I usually only brave the opening night crowds for Harry Potter

So anyone remember "The Thing" (1951)? It was titled "The Thing from Another World". John Carpenter did remake it in 1982, something like that. Now, its another new remake!
