Oh well... at least there were a lot of decapitations. Always good in a zombie movie. And now I know why Abe Lincoln was really assassinated.

My sister and I are going to go see AL Vampire Hunter when it comes out. I was telling my dad the other day that she and I were going to go to the movies for a history lesson and learn about how Lincoln saved everyone from all the damn vampires and he was like "yeah if you didn't catch that part in history class, you missed out big time"

I have to say, despite horrible reviews, I really liked the movie. I thought it was really fun and my sister and I regretted that we didn't see it in 3D. It looked like it would have been way cool that way.

I did, just didn't comment on it until now.

Re: Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter Trailer
Against my better judgement I went and saw "Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter," and it was actualy a pretty good story. I am not a huge fan of fictionalizing history, but it was a pretty decent horror story and a pretty good action/adventure story.
And I am almost willing to bet a whole paycheck, that there's going to be a sequal, and I'll bet you dollars to donuts, two to one, that it's going to be called "John F Kennedy Vampire Hunter" or "Franken D Rosavelt Vampire Hunter."

Not unless someone makes a comic book first. Screenwriters these days just don't have the imagination to come up with an original story. Probably why there's been so many remakes lately? A lot of the recent movies, like this one, started as a comic or graphic novel.

Forgive me if I'm showing my ignorance, but American history always bored me to tears--wasn't Theodore Roosevelt a big game hunter? Perhaps he could be a werewolf hunter...

Quick!! Go write it!
